Abstract:

Focused ultrasound ablation surgery (FUAS), as a minimally invasive and non-invasive technique for treating uterine fibroids, has therapeutic efficacy influenced by multiple perioperative factors. Currently, the traditional "preoperative-intraoperative-postoperative" three-phase division is insufficient to cover the key points of whole-process management. By summarizing and analyzing studies related to the perioperative period of FUAS for uterine fibroids, this review precisely divides the FUAS perioperative period into five stages: pre-FUAS phase, early-FUAS phase, FUAS phase, late-FUAS phase, and FUAS postoperative follow-up phase. The core characteristics and comprehensive intervention strategies for each stage are systematically outlined. The pre-FUAS phase focuses on precise preoperative evaluation and pharmacological pretreatment; the early-FUAS phase emphasizes preoperative preparation and physical-psychological management; the FUAS phase centers on intraoperative safety and prevention of adverse reactions; the late-FUAS phase addresses early postoperative rehabilitation and management of complications; and the FUAS postoperative follow-up phase prioritizes long-term management and prevention of recurrence. By establishing a full-cycle management protocol supplemented by integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine interventions, a standardized FUAS diagnosis and treatment system is formed, aiming to precisely enhance the clinical efficacy of uterine fibroid treatment.
