Guide Interpretation / Contrast the Guidelines for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus about ACOG in 2018 and ADA in 2019

Abstract: The prevalence of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus has been increasing in the world,It is not only associated with perinatal adverse events for mother and fetus, but also increases the risk of metabolic diseases in mother and off spring in the long term. However, there are still many controversies about the diagnosis and treatment in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus. ACOG in 2018 and ADA in 2019 had issued updated guidelines for GDM in order to provide the latest suggest for management of GDM. It is the guiding documents for the diagnosis and treatment of GDM in the United States. Two guidelines have been comparative analysed.
