端粒酶与宫颈癌的相关研究进展

摘要: 端粒酶是一种能以自身RNA为模板逆转录合成端粒的核糖核酸酶,其激活可能是体细胞向肿瘤转变的关键步骤,是细胞癌变的早期事件。人端粒酶包括2个重要部分,即人端粒酶催化亚单位(hTERT)和人端粒酶RNA(hTERC)。研究揭示,hTERT和hTERC对维持端粒酶活性至关重要。发现端粒酶的活化、hTERT/hTERC的表达变化与宫颈癌的发生、发展有密切关系。开展三者在宫颈癌中的相关研究,将为宫颈癌早期筛查提供新思路和手段。

Abstract: Telomerase is a ribonucleoprotein enzyme which has reverse transcriptase activity. Increased telomerase activity may be very critical in the early steps of carcinogenesis. The human telomerase is composed of two important subunits including telomerase transcriptase protein (hTERT) and telomerase RNA template (hTERC). Many studies showed both components were required for a functional telomerase holoenzyme. Recently many researches find that telomerase activity and hTERT/hTERC genomic instability are strongly associated events in the progression of uterine cervical dysplasia to invasive cancer. Such study in cervical cancer has been gradually carried out, which would provide new idea and means for early screening in cervical cancer.
