β连环素在卵巢肿瘤中的研究进展

摘要: β连环素(β-catenin)主要参与Wnt信号通路和上皮钙黏蛋白(E-cadherin)介导的细胞间的黏附,其在多数肿瘤中存在异常表达。研究表明,Wnt/β-catenin信号通路的异常激活与卵巢肿瘤的发生密切相关。同时,E-cadherin/β-catenin复合体的改变直接参与卵巢肿瘤的侵袭转移。卵巢肿瘤动物模型的出现进一步证明β-catenin在卵巢肿瘤发生发展中的作用。对卵巢肿瘤中β-catenin的研究进展做文献综述。

Abstract: β-catenin is mainly involved in Wnt signaling pathway and E-cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion. Abberant β-catenin expression occurrs in most human malignancies. Recent studies demonstrated that deregulation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway was related to the pathogenesis of ovarian neoplasms. Meanwhile, alteration of E-cadherin/β-catenin complex plays a significant role in the invasiveness and metastasis of ovarian cancer. Furthermore, the establishment of mouse models confirmed β-catenin′s role in the development of ovarian tumors. This review will summarize the new discoveries on β-catenin in ovarian neoplasms.
