Abstract: The mechanisms responsible for the pathogenesis of preeclampsia are poorly understood by now, which is important reason for maternal-fetal death. P-selectin is one of adhesion molecules, having a start and an enlarged role of inflammation and thrombus formation, resulting in coagulation dysfunction, damage to the capillary endothelial cells, thereby causing specific maternal-fetal clinical manifestations, which mainly comes from platelets. Many studies have confirmed that P-selectin play an important role in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia. In the article,we will make a review about this progress.
