Relationship between Antiapoptotic Related Protein XIAP and Platinum Resistance of Ovarian Cancer

Abstract: Tumor cell resistance to chemotherapeutic drugs has become more and more concerned in the clinical treatment, the tumor cells to escape apoptotic mechanisms become focusing points about the ongoing research in the resistance mechanism, XIAP is one of the chain of anti-apoptotic pathway of apoptosis protein family IAPs, respectively, play a key role in the development of kidney cancer, liver cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other human tumor cell resistance, and studies have shown that high expression of XIAP in ovarian resistance cytoplasm of cancer cells can affect the growth of tumor cells through a variety of ways, but over the whole of the mechanism and countermeasures is not yet clear, now summarizes the current research progress about new progresses of XIAP gene are reviewed for the clinical treatment ovarian cancer drug resistance studies,and also provide new ideas.
