Cervical Cancer Patients Combined with Multiple Primary Malignant Tumors: A Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract: Multiple primary malignant tumors (MPMT) describes a phenomenon that two or more primary malignancies occur simultaneously or successively in different organs or tissues of the same patient. This case reported a cervical cancer patient, who suffered from multiple benign and malignant tumors from 2000 to 2019, accepted surgery and adjuvant therapy in The First Hospital of Lanzhou University. The patients now is generally in good condition with no special discomfort and no signs of recurrence or metastasis after five months follow-up. This article elaborated accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment of patients and explored the pathogenesis, treatment regimen and survival rate of MPMT, so as to provide information and reference for medical researchers and clinical workers.
