Unicornuate Uterus Pregnancy with Cervical Insufficiency:A Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract: The reproductive prognosis of a unicornuate uterus is generally poor, which can lead to infertility, miscarriage, cervical insufficiency and premature birth. A case of 3 times pregnancies, respectively, in 10+ weeks′ gestation, 26+ weeks′ gestation, and 22+ weeks′ gestation of spontaneous abortion were reported. Combined hysteroscopy and laparoscopy were used to diagnose unicornuate uterus with non-communicating rudimentary horns with cervical insufficiency. After the disconnection the rudimentary horn and uterine plastic surgery, the patient was successfully conceived twice, and transvaginal cervical cerclage was performed at 12 weeks of gestation. The cesarean delivery was performed at 35+5 weeks and 36+4 weeks. We review the literature on the progress of diagnosis and treatment of unicornuate uterus with pregnancy at home and abroad in recent years.
