Progress and Prospect of the Genetic Study on Preeclampsia

Abstract: Genetic factors play important roles in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia. The latest advances in the candidate genes and epigenetic research in preeclampsia were overviewed in this article . Meanwhile, the future application of genome-wide association study and epigenetic markers in the genetic etiologies research, diagnosis and treatment of preeclampsia were prospected.
