Abstract: Stress urinary incontinence is a common disease that influences the aged women′s life. It is mainly due to the destruction of the normal pelvic floor structure and morphology or the dysfunction of the pelvic floor. Two-dimensional ultrasound imaging can clearly show the pelvic floor structure and its dynamic changes under different conditions. It has a unique superiority especially for the urethra, bladder and their surrounding structures. It also can show the location of the sling dynamically after the sling procedure which has been popular in recent years. Three- dimensional ultrasound imaging can clearly show not only the morphology of the pelvic diaphragm hiatus, but also the shape and changed angle of the sling. Ultrasound provides a reference of clinical diagnosis and operative effect for the female stress urinary incontinence with the morphological and functional changes.
