The Effects of Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone Analogues on Ovarian Cancer and Ovarian Function Protection

Abstract: Ovarian cancer is a hormone depended cancer. Endocrine therapy as an adjunctive therapy has a long history. Gonadotropin releasing hormone(GnRH)analogues can affect the proliferation and apoptosis of ovarian cancer cells. Many researches certified the ovarian function protection of the GnRH analogues after chemotherapy. For the patients of early stages and keeping the ovary,it has great clinical significance to treat ovarian cancer and protect ovarian function simultaneously with GnRH analogues.
