Abstract: In recent years， many exciting innovations have been developed for either diagnostic or operative
hysteroscopy，thus expanding application of hysteroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of endometrial diseases.This paper introduces a new diagnostic endoscopic technique for endometrial diseases-narrow-banding imaging hysteroscopy. It also discusses the therapeutical application of hysteroscopy on endometrial diseases，including the conservative treantment of endometrial cancer and atypical endometrial hyperplasia， and hysteroscopic treatment of infertility resulting from intrauterine adhesions. Finally， related evidence-based issues were discussed about the dissemination of endometrial carcinoma into the peritoneal cavity.
