Objective:To investigate the effect and the safety of bipolar electrode system during endometrial resection treatment. Methods:A total of 50 patients including dysfunctional uterine bleeding and endometrial polyps were randomly divided into two groups, one including 30 cases treated with monopolar resectoscopic surgery and the other 20 cases treated with bipolar resectoscopic surgery, all of them carries on the contrast analysis. Results:The experimental group in operation time, amount of bleeding during the operation, the volume of uterine distention medium and absorption volume, were lower than the control group, difference between the two groups is statistically significant(P<0.05),the experimental group without the occurrence of uterine perforation, air embolism, transurethral resection of prostate syndrome(TURPS),and can maintain the balance of blood electrolyte;the number of days of vaginal bleeding or discharge liquid of experimental group is less than the control group(t=4.254,P<0.001);the treatment effect of the two groups had no significant difference(χ2=0.591,P=0.807). Conclusions:The bipolar electrode system during endometrial resection is fast, safe, effective, and is worthy of further promotion.
