Abstract: Polycysticovary syndrome is one kind of endocrine disorder characterizedbyreproductive dysfunction and metabolic abnormalities, but there is no generally accepted conclusion about its etiology and pathogenesis until now. In recent years, much attention has been paid to molecular biology and genetic research concerning PCOS and scholars at home and abroad have found that transforming growth factor beta 1 is closely related to the pathogenesis of polycystic ovary syndrome. In this paper, the linkages of transforming growth factor β1 in the pathogenesis of polycystic ovary syndrome were reviewed in order to provide new ideas and theoretical basis for clinical treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome.
