Progress in Fertility Sparing Surgery in Young Women with Cervical Cancer

Abstract: In recent years, young women patients with cervical cancer(age less than 35 years old) incidence reports showed an upward trend year by year. At present, the tumor treatment principle is to prolong the survival time and improve the quality of life of patients. For young patients with cervical cancer, the quality of life has become one of the most important influence factors for the choice of treatment,especially for the patients with fertility requirement. This makes the cervical cancer fertility sparing operation has become a new hot spot in medical field. In this paper,we review the new advances of the young women with cervical cancer etiology,pathological type,clinical characteristics and their productive preservation operation in recent years,in order to provide the basis to evaluate the prevention, the diagnosis, the treatment and the prognosis of young women with cervical cancer.
