Abstract: Objective:To investigate the relationship between expression of CD44v6 and HPV infection in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Methods:Using Streptavidin-Peroxidase(S-P) immunohistochemical technique, the authors examined the expression of CD44v6 in samples. The infection of HPV-DNA was determined by FQ-PCR. Results:There were significant difference for CD44v6 expression between cervical squamous cell carcinoma,CIN and normal tissues.(P<0.05). The positive rate of HPV was significant different among cervical squamous cell carcinoma ,CIN and normal tissues(P<0.05). The infection of HPV was associated with the expression of CD44v6(rs=0.341,P=0.01). Conclusions:The abnormal expression of CD44v6 and HPV infection are closely related with the early pathogenesis, development of cervical cancer. So there is of certain clinical significance for early diagnosis of cervical cancer by detecting CD44v6 and HPV.
