Abstract: Dyspareunia is a common symptom in clinical obstetrics and gynecology，it′s a constituent part of female sexual dysfunction. The definition is the related pain to the penis into vagina or trying to enter. However，currently there is no general，unified and comprehensive evaluation guidelines. Dyspareunia has special requirements for the history collection，physical examination and laboratory tests. Chinese gynecologists should keep up with the current international dynamic and make accurate diagnosis and treatment，it is important to not only deal with organic disorders by surgery，but also pay attention to the psychological treatment.
