Abstract: There are growing evidences showing that inflammation plays an important role in carcinogenesis, development and metastasis and other aspects. In addition, some signaling molecules involved in innate immunity such as selectins, chemokines and their receptors can promote tumor cell invasion, migration and metastasis. Tumor cells, the surrounding normal host stromal cells and infiltrating inflammatory cells, together constitute tumor micro-environment,the micro-environment that contains various types of inflammatory cells and molecules is the basis for the continued proliferation of tumor cells. Research on the relationship between inflammation and gynecologic malignancies will not only help to understand the pathogenesis of gynecologic malignancies, but also provide a new strategy for the treatment of gynecologic malignancies.
